"Did I catch you at a bad time?"
It's human nature to want to rescue!
Simply ask the individual on the other end of the phone if you have caught them at a bad time. Most likely, they will tell you that it's always a bad time, but they have a moment to hear what you have to say. This will be the opportunity to dazzle them with your 30 second commerical.
